Role Overview

We are seeking a talented and dynamic video editor to join our award-winning creative team. As part of the team that powers groundbreaking social campaigns and projects, you will be responsible for creating impactful videos for a variety of platforms including social media, websites, and digital ads. 

Your work will help bring our creative vision to life and engage audiences with compelling social-first audiovisual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, conceptualise, edit, assemble, and enhance raw video footage into polished, engaging content for social media, websites, and digital platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with the design team, content planners, and account managers to ensure the video aligns with the brand's visual identity and messaging.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and ensure all video content is on-brand and consistent with the client's objectives, and the outlined content or creative brief.
  • Work on multiple projects at once, meeting deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Stay on top of trends in social media video formats and best practices to keep content fresh and engaging.
  • Create short-form videos for various social media platforms, including Instagram Reels, TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.
  • Apply basic motion graphics, kinetic typography, and animation to enhance videos and create a more dynamic experience.
  • Come up with video concepts and ideas from scratch, often in collaboration with the creative team, or against a given creative brief.
  • Develop, archive and utilise video templates and assets for repetitive content production to optimise workflows. 
Qualifications & Expectations
  • Proven experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing work for social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
  • Proficiency in video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and After Effects.
  • Knowledge of social media video formats, editing styles, and best practices to create content that performs well on each platform.
  • Experience with motion graphics, animation, and visual effects using After Effects or similar tools is a plus.
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines, even in fast-paced environments.
  • Creative mindset with a strong understanding of visual storytelling and pacing.
  • A good understanding of content creation trends, audio, and music choices in video editing for social media, with a killer eye of current, socially effective content.
